Tuy căn bản như vậy nhưng không hiếm lần anh đã phải nhấn mạnh với các bạn gửi CV tới cho anh là những lỗi này cực kì nghiêm trọng.
Lý do thứ nhất là nhà tuyển dụng sau khi đã nhìn hàng ngàn CV, họ có thể liếc qua và phát hiện ra ngay những lỗi này trong vài giây. Điều này có thể ảnh hưởng rất tiêu cực tới cảm nhận của họ đối với nội dung của CV. Trong nhiều trường hợp, nhà tuyển dụng có thể bỏ qua luôn CV của các em.
Lý do thứ hai là nó thể hiện sự không chỉn chu, cẩn thận. Điều này là điểm trừ rất lớn về tính chuyên nghiệp trong công việc mà nhà tuyển dụng khó có thể bỏ qua. Điều gì đảm bảo cho nhà tuyển dụng là các em không lặp lại những lỗi “ngớ ngẩn” trong một văn bản quan trọng nào đó của công ty sau này?
Để tránh gặp những lỗi này, ngoài việc chú ý cẩn thận hơn, các em có thể dùng một số công cụ kiểm tra chính tả tiếng Anh trên mạng như Grammarly. Ngoài ra, trước khi nộp hồ sơ, các em nên đưa CV của mình cho ít nhất một vài người bạn/mentor xem và cho nhận xét. Những người này nên đủ thân thiết để dành thời gian “soi” kỹ lỗi cho CV và thẳng thắn góp ý.
